Hi all! I'm making some posts for my pet shops instagran. Could any experts correct this info? The internet is confusing me! Also feel free to add any other essential info (this is the caption for a post)
Many thanks
In their natural environment, bearded dragons receive UVA and UVB radiation from the sun. In enclosures, it's essential that we replicate these conditions so that they can thrive. Here's some essential points:
💡 UVB light (heat bulb in dome fixture): stimulates metabolism of vitamin D3 and calcium, and assists in circadian rhythms regulation. Place over basking area i.e a rock or wooden feature.
💡 UVA light (long tube light, imitating the sun): helps to keep dragon stimulated with a healthy appetite. Can be placed on top of, or inside the tank.
Replace your bulbs every 6 months.
