Hi all - my guy (about 4 y/o) has dug himself a little burrow in the cool corner of his tank and has been sleeping a lot for about 3 days now. I have read on here that this can be either brumation or a parasite. I have a feeling it’s brumation since it has suddenly gotten very cold out but I have a vet visit scheduled for him tomorrow just in case.
I was wondering if there is anything special I need to do if it is brumation? I leave him salad and water as usual but I’m nervous to feed him bugs if he isn’t going to poop. Should I be trying? I’d feel bad waking him up. I replaced his bulbs recently and his temps are looking good so besides a vet visit I guess I’m just wondering what else I can do to keep him comfortable.
