Hi! I am looking for suggestions to rehome a bearded dragon, or find someone experienced who is interested?
I recently rescued a bearded dragon from a family on offerup. However, i’ve been doing everything I can to take care of him/her (not sure), and beardie is living a LOT better now. I want to rehome him because i believed that i did enough research and i was ready to take care of one because i have wanted one for a while, now i feel overwhelmed and scared that i am unknowingly neglecting him as i am a beginner of owning a reptile. I also do not have the money to get him all of his needs due to unexpected problems & as i am unemployed at the moment. Although my father has been helping me get his food, etc i don’t think we will be able afford him longterm. I have severe anxiety, depression and other health issues so he’s been helping me get out of bed to feed him, clean his tank, bathe him, etc, but i feel that i may not be able to keep it up in the future. I am terrified that i am hurting him rather than helping him so i’m looking for a home where there are professionals/ people that have done their research. I would love to keep him but i truly can’t. All i want is for him to be in a good loving home because he truly is a great beardie. Just trying to be responsible and find him a better home. Please if you have any suggestions/ if you are interested please let me know! I am located in LA area.
