I just got my beardie Cheddar 3 days ago and he’s a little bit apprehensive but will tolerate if I gently pet him. After this though he usually scurries off and sits in the shade for a bit. After about 20 minutes he comes back out again. Is this normal for a new beardie? Should I keep trying to help him get used to me or should I leave him for now? Any help would be great - Thank you! :)
