I am a responsible pet owner and there is just one thing that confuses me about bearded dragons. I wouldn't do this when they are little, but when they are fully grown, I read online that if you put a heating lamp close to the ground, you could let them explore the house and they can bask when they need too. I really hope this is true, because I would love to let my beardie roam around when he's older.
Also, if the answer to the first question is true, then would it be possible to just set up a nice spot for him in the corner of the room like you would in a tank, but not be in a tank and just make sure his basking spot is nice and cozy and the correct temp?
