Normally I order dubias from Chewy, since I get all the rest of my supplies for our cats from them. But lately, the shipping pipeline for ANYTHING has been abnormally slow. Even Amazon can't even deliver on two day shipping lately. I live in Seattle, and my only options are petco/petsmart, and those only sell very low quality crickets and super worms. There is one "reptile" store, but I refuse to go there, as a majority of the time I have been, most of their reptiles are sick, dying, or just kept improperly, so I wouldn't trust them enough to buy anything from them. It's been taking so long to get Ghidora's food, and luckily I have back ups of freeze dried crickets and he gets fresh salad pretty much daily, but I feel guilty I'm not getting him his favorite food. He loves dubias. He'll literally leap from his hammock the second he knows I have them. Anyone else have recommendations for companies that ship live feeders where I'm not waiting a week to get them? (Also out of curiosity, would it just be easier/doable to breed them once I finally get the ones I ordered a week ago? I've never tried breeding roaches). Also, a picture of my handsome man, just big chillin'. I love him so much. [link] [comments] |
