I’m not going to post my setup right now; partly because she is sleeping, and partly because y’all can be ruthless sometimes. She has tile floor, background that is climbable, multiple options for basking (wood branches and rock), and 3 hides.. feeding dubs (primary), Phoenix worms, wax worms, and horn worms on occasion , and greens a few times a week. giving proper supplements. Deworming tomorrow for a preventative measure with probiotics added. She has a bar uvb, basking light, and I use a CHE at night (as we like it cold)..
So I live in the southern United States. At this time of year it is consistently over 80% humidity. I have a mini (pet safe) humidifier in the tank and I have a mini tank fan I will install tomorrow. I cannot get the cold side below 45% (haven’t installed fan yet, so maybe will help), but the hot side seems okay as it run around 32-37%. I would like to get it all a little lower.
I’m just looking for advice from ppl who live in a humid climate, or ppl who have had a hard time lowering humidity. What has worked for you?… And yes, I have removed the water bowl.
