This is her first clutch. Before, I had noticed her acting funny, and checked her temps, and gave her some extra substrate in case this happened but I really did not actually expect it!! I thought she was throwing a fit cause I had to switch from mustard greens to dandelion greens, which she prefers less. But she had bigger fish to fry!! I’m so proud of her. She was very thirsty afterwards, and drank a lot… hasn’t touched her salad and mealworms yet, it’s only been a few hours though. I’m sure she’ll get her appetite back soon. I sprinkled her meal with extra calcium and I plan on treating her to some juicy horn worms to celebrate her accomplishments. I will let her soak tomorrow to clean off all the substrate she dug herself into. She’s currently sleeping very peacefully after a hard days work! Any other ways I can treat her and get her back to full health after this experience? I’m sure instinctually she knew just what to do, but with it being her first clutch I’m sure it was also exhausting and a bit confusing for her as well. I just want my precious dragon to feel refreshed now. She deserves to be ~pampered~
