My beardie is a baby/juvenile at the moment, her vivarium is big enough at the moment but I know she’ll outgrow it pretty quickly. My partner and I are both pretty handy and figured we’d be able to save some money by making her adult vivarium ourselves.
First, I’ve read that some woods are toxic to reptiles, what wood is recommended and which ones are absolute no-no’s?
How big does it need to be? What’s the minimum and should I make it bigger than that if possible?
I’m assuming it needs a vent as well?
Any advice much appreciated :)
