Hey,
So when I woke up this morning I noticed that my female lizard had a slight to mild black beard, which I know indicated stress. I shook it off and waiting an hour or two until I took some necessary concern for her. When I picked her up I noticed her abdomen was somewhat tight and that she was trying to run away from me in my hands. I placed her on the ground and she had a bowel movement that consisted of probably 90% liquid. After the bowel movement her eyes immediately sunk in.
My brother looked up some symptoms of egg bound in bearded dragons and and the symptoms are very similar. She had a clutch about 3 weeks ago, and then one egg randomly lay 4 days ago. I currently have her in a warm bath(one of the things that my brother found to do) and have put a decent amount of dirt in an extra cage we have.
Does anybody else have any more recommendations or any concerns that it could be something different? If so, thanks for the help!
