Hello all,
My 3 month old beardie had their (i say they/them because the vet said it is too soon to tell sex) first vet appointment yesterday and had some nasty bacteria in their feces.
Right now my dragon baby is eating both crickets and dubia roaches. I would rather have dubia roaches all the time if I could get them in supply near me, but right now I order them online and while I know I can sign up for a subscription, I am waiting on that for now.
I am assuming that the crickets, disgusting as they are, are what are causing this bacteria in my dragon. The crickets are so messy! They crap everywhere and jump all over the place so when I try to clean it they fling themselves, suicide-dive evel knievel style all over the room. I am so tired of their shenanigans. How do you all successfully clean your cricket enclosures? I do a deep cleaning once a week with the crickets. I wonder if I should get a larger tote or something to house them in instead of a large Tupperware container so that way when I reach in I can grab any old food or papertowels without losing half of the crickets that are so costly.

PS: Dragon of course gets veggies and fruits too!
