So about a month ago I noticed Saffron had what looked like puss in her mouth. One emergency vet visit (and $450 later) it turns out she had a cut in her mouth, most likely from trying to eat her plastic plant. The offending plant has been removed and she was put on antibiotics for the past month. And oh the Drama~
When she first started the antibiotics you'd have thought I was trying to kill her from the way she acted. Turning a dark grumpy grey, running away from the syringe, trying to attack the syringe, making "I'm gonna puke" noises until force fed strawberries, one time she even threw herself off her ledge sideways! Absolute drama child this one. No idea where she gets it from...
Anyway, as of yesterday she's done the meds! Yay! So today she got her food without the torture syringe! You'd think she'd be happy, right? Well...not so much. She walked away from her food, sat her self under her ledge, turned and grumpy grey and sulked for half an hour. Until finally I decided to try something. I gave her her "meds" (water). Oh all of a sudden she's bright yellow and happily munching away. This child....
TL/DR: Saffron, when she first started her meds: Poison?? Death!?!? throws herself off ledge
Saffron, now: Oh nooo~ It's time for my daily torture~ Me: No honey, it's over now Saffron: No no, it's torture time.
I cannot with this idiot wtf 🤣🤣🤣 Is this gonna be a daily thing now?
