How to quarantine bearded dragon

I’m currently setting up the enclosures for my boa and future beardie. They’re both 6x2x3 PVC enclosures stacked on each other. I’ve set up lights, substrate and heating already and I’m working on plants, but the thought of quarantine just hit me.

I can’t move what will be the beardies enclosure since it’s under the boas and I’ve already set so much up. I’ve never really quarantined a reptile before, but I’m guessing the enclosures being stacked on each other isn’t quarantine-safe.

  1. How long do I need to quarantine the bearded dragon?

  2. The beardie I’m looking at is not full grown(maybe 8-10 months old). Would a temporary plastic bin enclosure(34 gallons is the largest I can find, or 30x22x18 inches) suffice until the quarantine period is over? Or is it too small?

  3. How far apart do they need to be? Would opposite corners of the same room work or do they need to be in separate rooms?

  4. Anything else to think about when quarantining reptiles?

This is the bin I’m thinking about getting btw. I’d modify it so there’s mesh for ventilation and mesh spots on top of the lid(I’ll ofc have to reinforce the lid since IKEA’s are shitty) for UVB and heat lamps. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/samla-box-clear-90102971/
