Recently during the past months my 9 year old bearded dragon has been hiding and not eating, he doesn't come out to bask as usual or even eat. Considering that I know about bearded dragon brumation Im thinking that he's going through brumation right now as he hasn't lost much weight, but even now he seems as active as usual and just hiding, he's sleeping a lot more but I still hear and see him shuffling around in his hide. Is he brumating or is it something I should be worried about?
I should also mentioned that he was rehomed to me from a less than ideal setup as well as no insurance papers for vet care or anything (I was literally just given him and his terrarium). Any advice would be helpful.
