For context - I am a college student, and managed to find a place that allowed pets, so I was able to bring my beardie (Aki) and my bp. I’ve had Aki for almost 3 years now, and she’s been completely fine with me up until now. I’ve been in the house for almost a week, it’s about an 1 and a half drive from my parent’s house. My bp adjusted really fast, but Aki has been very stressed out since I moved. She hasn’t been eating much (she only ate once when I gave her a bowl of mealworms and left the room), and whenever I walk past her tank she tenses up or tries to hide. I took her out once briefly to give her some water and she puffed up and hissed at me.
I’m really worried about her, does anyone have any tips on how to relieve some of her stress? Will this go away over time? I’m mostly worried that she’s not getting enough to eat.
