I had a general question about bearded dragon enclosure size. I had a beardie a long time ago and had a giant enclosure that was probably over kill (it was like 5x5 or something ridiculous like that that took up most of my bedroom and my beardie mainly just hung out in about half of that space). I am interested in getting another lizard, probably either a bearded dragon again, or leopard geckos, for myself, but also want my kids to be exposed to reptiles like I was. Just wanted to see what is a recommended size. Is 4x2 ft good? I just don't want to end up having a lizard that is constantly at the glass trying to get out. The space I have for a second tank (currently have toads) could accommodate probably up to 6x2. Thanks for the input.
