Hi all, long time no post :)
We’ve had our baby beardie for about a month now, their appetite has been amazing since we got them. They’ve been eating a good 40ish Dubia per day plus greens, but that has definitely changed in the past few days.
Mushu went into a full body shed about a week ago: head, body, and all 4 limbs went white (they shed their tail a week before) and started eating a little less. We thought this was normal considering a big shed. We got all their shed off and scales/color look great, but the little one still won’t eat!!
Their skin looks pretty wrinkled, but I think that’s just loose skin from losing weight through shed - I’ve been giving them water and I can tell their poops are well-hydrated. They were nice and plump and chonky-bellied before shed, but now seems to have pooped it all out over the past couple days. They’re active and moving around, but just shows no interest in bugs!!
I’ll prep the Dubia as usual, shaking them around to get Mush’s attention (they’ll usually go wild licking the glass and trying to get to the buggies) but now they just look at the dubs and turn up their nose as if uninterested. I’ve offered greens, to which they’ve eaten a leaf here or there, but no dice.
They’re still having bowel movements regularly, albeit mostly liquid as they’ve been hydrating but not taking solid foods.
When should I be concerned? It’s only been 1 & 1/2 full days since their shed ended - but when should we expect our little chomper to get their appetite back? Wondering if we should try smaller feeders again? They’re the same size we fed before shed, but we had just upped the size (didn’t seem to have any issues with impaction or lack of appetite after offering larger Dubia) Many thanks in advance!
All temps and humidity have stayed consistent, activity level is pretty normal, the only thing that has changed was the big shed!! I’ve had the basking bulb for about 4 months (might change it but basking temps are still around 110°), changed the uvb a month ago

Edit: Baby Mushu is estimated ~2 months old (maybe little less), about 7in snout to tail, in a 20 gal long but has a 4x2x2 in the mail
