I'm completely new to this and I'm currently researching and learning about how to take care of beardies before getting one. But I plan on getting a beardie in the near future and I'm trying to figure out the best location for the enclosure. We moved into our house a year ago and I just recently made a man cave in my basement where I plan to spend most of my time and I'm concerned if I put the enclosure in that room it'll get too cold. I live in Kansas where the summers get hot and the winters get cold. My basement in the summer time roughly stays around 69° and in the winter it got to 54° at one point. I also have the vents downstairs blocked off to force more air to our main level, so unblocking the part where the enclosure will be will warm it up in the winter. I just don't know how much it'll warm it up. Any tips on keeping them warm during the winter or do I need to change the location?
