My adult bearded dragon started having diarrhea about 2 months ago. I thought it was a change in diet (before = only blueberries and mealworms, now = appropriate diet of greens, veggies, and fewer mealworms). Went to the vet about a month ago with a fresh fecal sample. They diagnosed him with hookworms and pinworms and gave me four doses of fenbendenzole (sp?). When I told them it wasn’t working, they said to start feeding him critical care (3p herbivore to 1p carnivore).
Nothing seems to be helping. His activity level is fine, but so.much.diarrhea.
Cool side of the tank is 75-85, basking is 90-100. Humidity is a bit low around 15%, with a big container of water for him to soak.
Diet is primarily yellow squash and collard greens, with bits of carrot and broccoli on occasion, and ~5 mealworms every other day.
Any advice?
