So I have my 6 month old Beardie named Pip. Had her since she was 1 month old. Needless to say over the last 5 months Queen Pip has shown off some of her quirks and personality. It's hilarious and cute. But today something happened that has me curious.
So we have a ramp that we place to bridge a gap between my table and window. Every day we put up the ramp and let Pip climb to the window and soak up the sun/watch outside.
Well this morning it's raining so I decided to skip window time. But I let Pip walk around the room and do whatever. Well she goes next to a little cubbie and just keeps licking it. Its obvious something inside has her attention.
So I look over at what she could possibly be interested in. Low and behold it's another ramp. (We have 2 in case we lose or break one).
I pull out the ramp and she just climbs onto it. Obviously Pip found what she was looking for and expects me to put her in the window.
So this led me to wonder, at what extent do Beardies have intelligence? Was this truly an act of my Beardie wanting something, finding it and exposing it to get her way? Or pure coincidence?
She is happily in the window watching the rain btw. Figured after this scenario I'd let her have her way.
