Need some big renovations done on the house and I just don't have a way for my reptiles to stay with me while they happen, and it wouldn't be safe at home. My bearded dragon has been no problem at all, and I've found multiple places that would be a good stay for her. The main issue comes with my tegu. His vet would be willing to board him, but they said I'd basically need to find a way to set up an enclosure for him within their facility which isn't ideal. I've gotten a big maybe from another local facility, but since they have no previous experience with lizards of his size I'd be worried. To other big reptile owners, how do you work with things like this? (Should add I don't have any friends or family who can care for him. None of them like reptiles and everyone is scared of him lol.)
