so we just got our beardie yesterday from a family friend, and we’re having trouble raising the basking spot temp and the overall ambient temperature. we moved her into a 50 gallon tank with tile as her substrate, and we have a 34 inch uvb tube, and a 150 watt basking lamp. i just placed the ceramic heater on the opposite side of the basking lamp to see if that helps but it hasn’t done much so far (i’m not sure what wattage the che is). we’re going to try making the basking spot a little higher today, but i can’t figure out how to raise the ambient temperature. our house temp right now is about 65°. also we’re using a temperature gun to measure rather than the dial thermometers, i know those aren’t very accurate. any help is appreciated, thank you!!
