Heya guys! I’ve been strongly contemplating getting a bearded dragon for years now, and am about to make the jump into obtaining a scaly puppy. But before doing so I just wanted to ask about some things concerning costs.
I am a vet student so understand basic husbandry and care, but am not too familiar with vivarium specs, costs as well as food costs and ease of obtaining the food. I’m also away most of the day at vet school so understand that that may be a limiting factor, but have any of you experienced hugely negative effects on lizard behaviour when gone for long working hours? Would two be better than one (ofc not two males)?
Any recommendations and help is hugely appreciated!
